Lost files, misspelled names, wrong addresses and phone numbers…inaccuracies in medical records occur on a daily basis in veterinary clinics everywhere. Mistakes like these can lead to hours of searching, countless follow-up phone calls and major frustration.

If confronted with a lawsuit or investigation by the state board, your records will be up for scrutiny. Will they pass the test?

This half-day seminar will help provide you with tips to manage your medical records with greater accuracy, confidentiality and efficiency.

Compliance requirements will be reviewed as it pertains to the Texas Veterinary Practice Act Rules of Professional Conduct. Ongoing maintenance recommendations to help keep your records on track and effective months and years later will also be covered.

This seminar is approved by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners for 3 CE credits in the practice management category. For more information, please contact Ellen Forsythe, CMP at 512/452-4224 or
